The pilot of the STS-119 mission that left Cape Canaveral on Sunday March 15 took away the green flag which will be used to start the Saint Petersburg Grand Prix, the first round of the season.IndyCar Series.
Having left with Discovery for the International Space Station (ISS) with seven astronauts and two new solar panels, this mission will return to Earth on March 28, a week before the first test of the 2009 calendar.
The St. Petersburg Grand Prix will kick off the season on April 5. Tony Antonelli, the pilot of Discovery, will be invited by Michael Andretti.
