Firestone has extended its contract withIndyCar until 2025 to remain the sole manufacturer of the championship. The American tire supplier already had a contract until next year.
Its presence in the discipline dates back more than 8 decades, but this year will be the 20th consecutive season that it will remain the sole manufacturer of IndyCar. This year, Firestone will produce more than 26 tires for teams, including 000 for the Indy 6000 (May 500).
