Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti (Target Chip Ganassi Racing) will start from pole for the race.Indycar at Kentucky Speedway. Ryan Briscoe and Helio Castroneves (Team Penske) will start from the second row. Qualifications having been cancelled, as in Nascar Sprint Cup Series, the start will be in the order of the championship classification.
