Harding Steinbrenner Racing will change engine supplier in 2019 IndyCar Series. After two seasons spent with the Chevrolet twin-turbo V6 block, the American structure will evolve with Honda engines.

“We are excited about the focus on developing young talent, as evidenced by the additions of Colton Herta and Patricio O'Ward who will join our team next year, it is a natural fit for Harding Steinbrenner Racing and Honda to line up in 2019.” underlines team president Brian Barnhart.

O'Ward and Herta were lined up this year for the final in Sonoma (California), before being started for 2019 in the No. 8 and No. 88 cars. Harding Steinbrenner Racing thus joins Andretti Autosport, Chip Ganassi Racing, Dale Coyne Racing, SPM, and even RLL in the teams trusting the Japanese engine manufacturer and its American subsidiary HPD.
