Sam Schmidt Motorsports is mourning the death of Dan Wheldon last night in the Las Vegas race. The eponymous owner of the stable is devastated, like all the members of his team, by the disappearance of the Briton. “Dan Wheldon was a fabulous competitor, a superb driver and was even more superb as a person.
