The organizer of the Las Vegas event, wanting to make the final round of the 2011 calendarIndycar, on October 16, an event, decided to invite five pilots from various backgrounds. If one of them wins, they would reward them with a check for $5 million. Among the expected drivers, Juan-Pablo Montoya, Tony Stewart and Sam Hornish Jr, all former champions now converted to Nascar, appear at the top of the list. For the first, triple champion of the discipline, currently without a steering wheel, it is possible. As for the other two, they indicated that for logistical reasons, a Sprint Cup event taking place the same weekend in Charlotte, this eventuality had little chance of succeeding. Stewart adding that to aim for victory, participation in several events beforehand was necessary. If there is one who could be interested, however, it is AJ Allmendinger. The Richard Petty Motorsport driver, another veteran of the discipline, experiences the same fears as his two acolytes, but he seems particularly attracted by the carrot and thus leaves the door open.
