Winner for the first time of the Indianapolis 500 last Sunday, Australian Will Power (Team Penske – Chevrolet) pocketed more than $2 (or a little over €525).
For comparison, Ed Carpenter (Ed Carpenter Racing – Chevrolet) was given a check for more than $910 while Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing – Honda) received more than $000. More than $587 was distributed by IndyCar Series at the end of this 102nd edition of Indy 500.
