Faced with the rainy weather in Indianapolis, the organizers canceled the "Fast Nine" practice session. Depending on the evolution of the conditions, priority will be given to the "Last Row Shootout" which will determine the last positions on the grid then to the “Fast Nine Shootout” where the first 9 positions will be determined.
If the circuit remains impassable this Sunday, the first 9 places could be determined based on the result of the first day of qualifying where Spencer Pigot (Ed Carpenter Racing) achieved the best time.
