The Long Beach city council validated last Thursday the extension of the holding of the Grand Prix which welcomes theIndyCar since 1984 until 2023. The Californian city hosted the F1 eight times between 1976 and 1983.
“It’s a very good thing for economic development and for bringing tourists to our city”, commented Robert Garcia, the mayor of Long Beach.
