THEIndycar has confirmed that the Mid-Ohio round will take place on September 12 and 13. Two races in the same format will take place this weekend. Originally scheduled for the beginning of August, the Honda 200 was postponed due to the health crisis. The choice of the new date allows the championship to avoid a period of one month without racing during September.
There are therefore five rounds left for Joseph Newgarden and Pato O'Ward to try to dethrone Scott Dixon, firmly established at the top of the championship. The competitors will travel to Indianapolis on October 2 and 3 for a final doubleheader before the final in St. Petersburg on October 25.
