Josef Newgarden (Penske) was again the fastest on Saturday, during the second free practice in St Petersburg, with a lap in 1'00"8029.
He beat Alexander Red (Andretti) of 1/10th and Jack Harvey (Meyer Shank).
Fifth Friday during EL1, Simon Pageanud (Penske) this time set the 6th time in 1'00"2735.
Still on the French side, Romain Grosjean (Dale Coyne Racing) posted a promising 9th time, in 1'00”4198.
Sébastien Bourdais (AJ Foyt Racing), he is still not on the pace, and could not do better than 16th fastest.
Qualifying will take place from 19:45 p.m. (HF), and the race on Sunday (18:30 p.m.).
