Will Power (Team Penske – Chevrolet) set the best time in the free practice session of the Road America weekend (Wisconsin), an event which will have two races on the program.
The driver from Roger Penske’s team completed his reference lap in 1’46″002 and precedes Jack Harvey (Meyer Shank Racing – Honda) by 0″158. Josef Newgarden (Team Penske) climbs into third position at 0″189 and leads in his wake Felix Rosenqvist (Chip Ganassi Racing – Honda) and Ryan Hunter-Reay (Andretti Autosport – Honda) to complete the top 5.
simon pagenaud (Team Penske) only set the 18th time, 1″070 behind his teammate. Qualifying will begin at 20:15 p.m.
