simon pagenaud (Sam Schmidt) managed to pass all the necessary phases of the Rookie Orientation Program to be definitively entered into the Indy 500. Five other drivers successfully completed the phases: Michel Jourdain (Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing), Josef Newgarden and Bryan Clauson (Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing), James Jakes (Dale Coyne Racing) and Rubens Barrichello (KV Racing Technology).
Jean Alesi (Fan Force United) and Wade Cunningham (AJ Foyt Racing) will return to the track today to complete the necessary phases.
