Ayumu Iwasa stood out as the fastest driver in the single test session in Abu Dhabi where Théo Pourchaire finished 2nd.

Last weekend for F1 in Abu Dhabi but also for the F2 ! For this single practice session before qualifying, it was Ayumu Iwasa who dominated the timesheet. Japanese, who should be reappointed at DAMS in 2023, completed his best lap in 1'38"168, thus ahead of Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix) by only 55 thousandths while Jack Doohan (Virtuosi) completed the Top 3.

Champion since the last round at Monza, Felipe Drugovich (MP Motorsport) was discreet with the 10e time finishing just over 4 tenths behind Ayumu Iwasa. For their first appearance in F2 this year, Juan Manuel Correa (VAR) and Zane Maloney (Trident) were relegated to the 14e and 21e Positions.
