Jaguar changes everything… or almost for the arrival of the Gen3 in Formula E. The British team has lifted the veil on its new colors in 2023. Gone is the electric blue, make way for black-white-gold and an… asymmetrical livery. The two cars will have two different designs, in mirror effect. The name of this new mount? The Jaguar I-Type 6.

As for the drivers, however, no changes: Sam Bird and the vice-champion of season 8, Mitch Evans, continue the adventure with Jaguar Racing in 2023. The objective is announced: the team wants to play in both championships . “I am incredibly proud of what we accomplished last season. We got our highest number of points to date, but we know we can do better, and we are here to compete for the World Championship, assures James Barclay, team director. We have confidence in the Jaguar I-Type 6 and the strength of our talented team, and I can't wait to see what this season brings us. »

The Jaguar I-Type 6 will be on track for pre-season testing in Valencia (December 11-14) before the first round of the new Gen3 era in Mexico on January 14, 2023.
