The sleeves of F2 in France (July 22-24) and Hungary (July 29-31) will take place without Jake Hughes. Recently tested positive for Covid-19, the Englishman was logically forced to withdraw from the next two meetings of the season.
To replace Jake Hughes, VAR did not look very far and called, or rather recalled, an old acquaintance: David Beckmann. Firefighter on duty at the house, the German, who has already replaced Amaury Cordeel at Silverstone (suspended one round) at the beginning of the month, will bring the colors of the Dutch team to Paul-Ricard and the Hungaroring.
After testing positive on COVID, we are forced to withdraw JAKE HUGHES from the upcoming races at Paul Ricard. Jake will be replaced by DAVID BECKMANN who will, due to the tight back-to-back schedule, also race in Jake's place at the Hungaroring. We wish Jake a good recovery! pic.twitter.com/68SE5PGWxj
