A new adventure for Jamie Chadwick. The Briton will cross the Atlantic to drive in the United States, in the Indy NXT championship (formerly Indy Lights), with the Andretti team. The three-time W Series champion, also a development driver with Williams en F1, went into exile in America after having given satisfaction during the multiple tests carried out with Andretti over several months.

Chadwick will make her American series debut in Andretti Autosport's No. 28 Dallara and become the first woman to compete full-time in the Indy NXT Championship since 2009's Ana Beatriz. “I am very happy to join Andretti for the 2023 Indy NXT season,” said Jamie Chadwick. My goal is always to challenge myself and continue my progression as a driver. This represents not only a big step forward but also a big step towards my goal of competing in the highest categories of the car. Andretti's place in motorsport is unrivaled and I hope to bring more success to such a prestigious team. I can't wait to get started. »
Jamie Chadwick's first race will take place on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida for the 2023 Indy NXT season opener, March 3-5, 2023. She joins Hunter McElrea (No. 27) and Louis Foster (No. 26) at Andretti and becomes the second full-time female driver in the Andretti structure, since Catie Munnings is entered in Extreme E with the American team.
