There will be a 100% Indian crew in Formula E, on April 24. The Mahindra team has formalized the presence of Jehan Daruvala for the Rookie Test, organized the day after the Berlin E-Prix. The Indian driver, currently 6th in the championship Formula 2 with the MP Motorsport team, is no stranger to the Indian structure since he is, since the end of 2022, reserve driver for Mahindra.
Daruvala notably drove in the Banbury simulator with the team's engineers, thus contributing to the development of the car alongside starters Lucas di Grassi and Oliver Rowland.
