The new NIO 333 single-seater revealed

A few days before the winter tests which will take place in Valencia (Spain), the Chinese team presented on its Twitter account the colors of its new car for season 2022 of Formula E. Mostly metallic blue, there are touches of red on the sides. The two cars will carry the numbers 3 and 33. During the season which has just ended and which saw the coronation of Nyck de Vries, NIO 333 finished in last place in the Manufacturers ranking, with 12 points. The 2022 calendar will begin on January 28, 2022 in Saudi Arabia at the Dariya circuit and end on August 14, 2022 in Seoul (South Korea).

“We tried a lot of different variations and ultimately wanted something familiar for the fans, explains team CEO Vincent Wang. After repeated deliberations between our Chinese and UK team members and our design team, we decided on a concept developed from last year's acclaimed version. Although the base colors of NIO Blue and 333 Racing have not been drastically changed, we have updated the lines on the side of the car to make them more 'electric'.
