Laguna Seca: Herta in the lead at mid-race

Colton Herta (Andretti) achieves a solo victory at Laguna Seca, where he already won in 2019.

His teammate, Alexander Red, who accompanied him on the first row, made a mistake on the 2nd lap while trying to pass him.

Third on the grid, Will Power (Penske) suffered an engine problem right away.

In spirit and author of several class overruns, notably on Scott Dixon, Romain Grosjean (DCR) was in 3rd place, before his pit stop on lap 47. He is now 9th.

Herta is two seconds ahead of Alex Palou (Ganassi). But in the race for the title, the Spanish leader of the championship is carrying out a good operation.
