The Porsche Taycan becomes the new Safety Car

After a year of alternation between the BMW i8 Coupé and the electric MINI, Formula E va découvrir une toute nouvelle Safety Car. À compter de la saison 2021/2022 dont les débuts sont prévus pour les 28 et 29 janvier à Dariya (Arabie saoudite), le Porsche Taycan Turbo S fera office de voiture de sécurité lors des périodes de neutralisation.

« By making the Taycan Turbo S the official safety car, we are making an important contribution to circuit safety and underlining the importance of Formula E for Porsche Motorsport, says Thomas Laudenbach, Vice President of Porsche Motorsport.
