London – EL1: The Sérgio Sette Câmara surprise

No one really expected him to be at the top of the scoreboard. However, with the Dragon/Penske team, Sérgio Sette Câmara dominated the first free practice session for the London ePrix in 1'14″487. Antonio Giovinazzi's teammate, surprising 4th driver at the finish, beat both Mercedes de Nyck de Vries and Stoffel Vandoorne in first position for a long time. Ultimately, it was Mitch Evans (0″172) and Nick Cassidy (0″207) who completed the podium behind the Brazilian. 

Four drivers are in the race for the title with two rounds remaining on the calendar. Formula E. If Mitch Evans started his weekend well on British soil, Jean-Éric Vergne cannot say the same. The Habs finished far behind Sérgio Sette Câmara by more than 7 tenths. The current championship leader, Stoffel Vandoorne completed the 30 minutes in 8th position ahead of Edoardo Mortara, 12th. The Swiss got a scare at the end of the session by losing his car at the first turn. The second free practice session is scheduled for 10 a.m. this Saturday.
