Luca Ghiotto (Uni-Virtuosi) set the best time in the free practice session of the FIA meeting F2 at Silverstone this Friday. The Italian achieved the reference time in 1'39″166, and is ahead Nicholas latifi (DAMS) of 115 thousandths and Guanyu-Zhou (Uni-Virtuosi) of 161 thousandths.
The current leader of the championship, Nyck de Vries (ART Grand Prix), ranks 6th with a time of 1'39″692, five tenths from the reference. The tricolors rank 13th and 15th respectively with Giuliano Alesi and Dorian Boccolacci (Trident) when Anthoine Hubert (Arden) takes 16th place.
The session was marked by contact between Sergio Sette Camara (DAMS) and Sean Gelael (Prema), the latter being forced to end his session prematurely.
