Niko Kari will take his first steps in F2 by competing in the last two meetings of the season within MP Motorsport. The 18-year-old Finn will reunite with his former teammate Dorian Boccolacci with whom he competed in the GP3 Series at the start of the year within the Dutch team, taking the place of Ralph Boschung.
“Niko was a little unlucky with us this year, justified MP Motorsport team manager Sander Dorsman about the 6 points scored by the Nordic driver. In any case, he has always shown his potential. We are confident that he will quickly be able to use his pace to achieve results in the final rounds of the F2 season. We plan to surprise a few people by fielding such a young crew. »
