Fourth pole for Charles Leclerc

Charles Leclerc (Prema) won his 4e consecutive pole position in FIA F2 in Baku in 1'52''129. He was ahead by five tenths Nobuharu Matsushita (ARTGP) et Nicholas latifi (DAMS) by seven tenths.

The session was interrupted three times by red flags: first by an accident by Luca Ghiotto (Russian Time) at turn 15, then by debris on the track, and finally by a piece of front wing lost by Latifi in turn 7.

Free practice leader, Nyck De Vries (Rapax) was 4e ahead of Artem Markelov (Russian Time), the Russian relegated to one second behind the Monegasque. Antonio Fuoco (Prema) qualified 6e ahead of Johnny Cecotto (Rapax). Sergio Canamasas (Trident) was 8th ahead of Oliver Rowland (DAMS) only 9th.
