Following an MRI scan today, I'm very happy to say I will be racing in Baku. I've been taken care by specialists the last few days to treat my injury which was serious and needed proper treatment. There might still be moments of pain but it's now safe for me to race.

The Swiss has been suffering from neck problems since the third round of Formula 3 at Imola. He then tried to participate in the following two events, in Barcelona then to Monaco. But the Campos driver had to withdraw each time after free practice, the pain being too intense.
After two weeks of rest and treatment, Boschung was cleared by doctors to participate in the Azerbaijani meeting. Author of three top 5s and a podium in the main race at Imola, he was on a very good run before his double withdrawal. Ralph Boschung is now in 11th place in the championship, with 32 points.
