The Spanish driver replaced his compatriot Sergio Canamasas in the Rapax in the round of F2 from Spa-Francorchamps. The latter had to withdraw for personal reasons.
After a good weekend in the top 10, Roberto Merhi back with the Italian team for the Monza round. He will compete for his 5e and 6e F2 races of his career, having competed in his home round in Barcelona with Campos.
