Reigning GP3 champion George Russell (ART Grand Prix) set the best time on the final morning of testing F2 at Paul Ricard (Var). With a benchmark of 1'42''396, he is also the best rookie of the morning. He is two tenths ahead of his teammate Jack Aitken, the ART GP drivers filing down the tarmac with around a hundred laps covered between them.

Nyck de Vries completes the top 3 for Pertamina Prema Theodore Racing, 4 tenths behind the Briton Mercedes. The session was interrupted three times following stops on track by Antonio Fuoco (Charouz Racing System), Roy Nissany (Campos Vexatec Racing), Artem Markelov (Russian Time) and Ralph Boschung (MP Motorsport).
