After three seasons at Dragon Penske, the former Brazilian F2 hopeful joins NIO 333 in Formula E.

Sette Câmara transferred to NIO

Sergio Sette Câmara needed fresh air. The Brazilian driver leaves the Dragon Penske team in Formula E, whom he has worked with for three seasons, for the Chinese team NIO in 2022-23.

The 24-year-old driver got by at the back of the grid with the American team (27th, 22nd and 20th). “ I am very happy to join the NIO 333 family and I would like to thank all the team members who believed in me for this opportunity. I've been very clear about my desire to stay in Formula E, and I'm super excited about the new Gen3 car. »

Alex Hui, team director NIO 333 Formula E Team, adds: “ We are delighted to be able to bring Sergio on board. He is a fantastic talent and we have already been very impressed with his approach. By securing his services, the NIO 333 Formula E team completes another part of its puzzle by progressing towards the top of the grid. We are heading into Season 9 with a proven team, lots of motivation and very positive momentum. »
