Absent from free practice this Friday morning at Spa-Francorchamps, Daniel Ticktum was in fact deprived of the day's only practice session due to an inconclusive Covid-19 test, announced the Formula 2. The Briton is waiting, according to the usual procedure, for the result of his second test, to know whether or not he will be able to take part in qualifying at the end of the day (17 p.m.). There was therefore only one car on the DAMS side on Friday morning, that of Jüri Vips, who replaces the injured Sean Gelael at short notice for the next three rounds of F2.
Following an inconclusive COVID-19 test result DAMS F2 driver Dan Ticktum will not take part in today's practice while he awaits the result of a retest#BelgianGP #F2
