Daniel Ricciardo, pilot of the Red Bull Junior Team and the Tech 1 Racing team will participate in the Formula collective tests Renault 3.5 Series, this weekend, in Jerez. Slightly injured after a fall while mountain biking, the Australian driver was replaced by Julien Jousse, who came to help the Toulouse team develop its car.
Ultimately, Ricciardo will run well, and Jousse too, a car being available this Saturday due to the absence of Brendon Hartley, retained in Bahrain by Red Bull Racing (F1). The New Zealander will arrive in Spain this Sunday, to replace Julien Jousse for the second day of testing.
This season, Red Bull Junior Team drivers Brendon Hartley and Daniel Ricciardo will team up at Tech 1 Racing for the FR 3.5 Series season.
Update 11:55 a.m.: Finally, after a test, Daniel Ricciardo is suffering too much from his injured hand and decided not to ride. A decision also taken by Albert Costa, also suffering from a hand injury following a collision.
