At 47 years old and nearly 300 departures in IndyCar, Tony Kanaan still has more under the hood. Champion in 2004 and winner of the Indy 500 in 2013, the Brazilian will try his luck again this year, still with a partial program.
As in 2021, Tony Kanaan will start the Indy 500 with the Dallara W12 “American Legion” from Chip Ganassi Racing as confirmed by the team via a video posted on social networks.
