Both Porsche 99X arboreront une livrée spéciale lors du E-Prix de Séoul, les 13 et 14 août, pour la dernière manche du championnat du monde de Formula E. Porsche and TAG Heuer will celebrate the world premiere of the TAG Heuer Connected Caliber E4 – Porsche Edition, the first joint “smartwatch” from the manufacturer and the Swiss luxury watch brand. The two entities have been in partnership since 2014. The new livery was presented to the public in Seoul on Thursday.

The Porsche 99X will be predominantly black in South Korea, with a few touches of electric blue. The inspiration came from the ice blue version of the Porsche Taycan, the electric car from the Stuttgart firm. The graphic elements of the design are intended to represent “pit charts, speed, progress, and draw attention to the lights of Seoul. »

“Porsche and TAG Heuer celebrate two world premieres in Seoul. One is the new smartwatch, which was developed as a joint project, and the other is the first Formula E race in South Korea., said Carlo Wiggers, Director of Team Management and Commercial Relations at Porsche. “To commemorate these great events, we decided to campaign our two Porsche 99Xs during the season finale with a special livery that represents the new watch. Many thanks to Formula E and the FIA – without their support none of this would have been possible. »
