Nico Jamin (Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing) took pole position for the first USF2000 race at the NOLA Motorsports Park track in Louisiana. The Frenchman is ahead of his teammate Aaron Telitz and championship leader Jake Eidson (Pabst Racing)
