She gets closer but Romain Grosjean will have to wait a little longer before achieving his first victory in IndyCar. Leader for more than half of the race, the Habs, who wear Andretti's colors, were defeated by Scott McLaughlin with less than 20 laps to go.
The New Zealander, who had opted for a strategy of 3 stops against 2 for the Habs, gained the upper hand over Romain Grosjean after a small error from the latter. No longer having Push-to-Pass for the end of the race, the former driver of F1 had to settle for a new one 2e place, its 5e since his arrival in IndyCar in 2021.
