Vips sets the best test time at Monza
It's only a free practice session but Jüri Vips (Hitech GP) was at ease on the Monza tarmac this Friday morning. Still in the game, the Estonian continued to improve his times until setting the best mark of the session in 1’32”337.
With this time, Jüri Vips was no longer caught by his counterparts like Ralph Boschung (Campos), 2e under the checkerboard by more than 3 tenths. Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix), who must hope for a misstep from Felipe Drugovich (MP Motorsport) to continue to believe in the title, ranked 4e position 4 tenths from the Hitech GP driver. The championship leader finished 2 places behind with a best lap of 1’32”897.
