The second Frenchman competing in this Acropolis Rally, Pierre-Louis Loubet, also impresses. The young 25-year-old driver is 3rd in the general classification after setting the 3rd time in this special, just 2″6 behind Loeb.
For the championship favorites, however, the trend was reversed compared to the first special of the day. First to set off on the road, Kalle Rovanperä (10th, +10″5) lost a lot of time and found himself 9th overall. With the stewards' decision to extend the interval between starts to 4 minutes, the following competitors were less disrupted by the dust. Ott Tänak (7th, +4″5) has already taken a gap of 8 seconds against his rival for the title.
