Acropolis – SS8: Tänak calls the shots, concern for Loeb

The Hyundai sont en mission ce samedi matin ! Ott Tänak was impressive on the long Pyrgos special (33,20 km) by setting a time of 25’06”1. Only Sébastien Loeb (2nd, +1″7) and Thierry Neuville (3rd, +4″7) were on pace with the Estonian. The 2019 world champion moved back into the general standings, 29 seconds behind Loeb but only 10 seconds behind 2nd place, now owned by Thierry Neuville. Pierre-Louis Loubet (6th, +20″4) lost ground and fell one place.

If Sébastien Loeb has increased his lead at the head of the rally, concern reigns around the nine-time champion WRC. Le Français s’est arrêté juste après la fin de la spéciale, soupçonnant un problème sur sa M-Sport Ford, et ne semble pas en mesure de réparer…
