Antibes Rally – SS8: Ciamin knocks out the competition

Over the last 18,130 km of the day, Nicola Ciamin concluded an exceptional day by setting her sixth scratch time.

At the wheel of his Alpine A110, Ciamin relegates Eric Camilli (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil), second in the special to 4,6 seconds and increases his overall lead to 28,6 seconds.

Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) took the fourth fastest time and finally led a very wise first day with a view to the championship which placed him on the podium overall. Quentin Giordano (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport), third in the special and fourth overall, remains within shooting distance of a formidable trio ofAlpine A110 led by Cédric Robert, ahead of Julien Saunier and Raphaël Astier.
