Antibes ES 1 – Giordano warms up
Traditional special opening of the Rally Antibes-Côte d'Azur, the ES de Gréolières with its 4,73 kilometers allows drivers to warm up before attacking the formidable Col de Bleine.
Quentin Giordano (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) was the most efficient, 1 second ahead of Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto). Cédric Robert (A110 Rally-Team Bonneton HDG) followed closely. The Stéphanois was 1/10th behind the four-time French Champion.
Sur ses terres et considéré comme le favori, Nicolas Ciamin (i20 N Rally2-Hyundai 2C Compétition) perdait quelques dixièmes sur un freinage et concédait 2,2 secondes au meilleur temps.
The Top 5 of this first timed sector was completed by William Wagner (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport).
