To be crowned in the 2nd division, Michaël Lobry only needed to cross the finish line of this final round of the championship. A formality in appearance, except that at the end of the race, the driver of the Mitsubishi Lancer Minerva Oil had to deal with electronic problems, making the last two stages particularly stressful. "The rally the longest and worst of my life », said the 34-year-old driver upon arrival.

On a DS3 WRC PH Sport, Jean-Charles Beaubelique scored an indisputable victory in this 60th edition, quickly gaining the upper hand over the pack of R5s chasing him. Ex-winner, and a little short of competition, Jérôme Galpin took the 2nd step of the podium, ahead of Mesnager who did not take long to understand how the 208 T16 worked. Still young and efficient, “Knapick” failed at the foot of the podium.
