Imperial Baud at the Rallye des Bornes

Cretien announced the color from the start by signing two scratches. Baud replied to point at the end of the 1^re stage only 3” behind the leader. But he was ahead and received a 1′ penalty which dropped him to 8^e rank. In Group N, the favorite Lecoarer, victorious the two previous years, did it again by remaining untouchable throughout the weekend, his closest opponent clocking in at 1'20''.
