Returned this year with the DS3 WRC, Jean-Charles Beaubelique dominated the competition from start to finish, taking the opportunity to increase his lead in the 2nd Division championship. Things were well underway at the end of the short 1st stage, and interest quickly shifted to the fight for 2nd place. Christiann initially held the bar well but he was unable to oppose the final rush from a flamboyant Heuninck.
The Linsellois won in a tough group N, ahead of the convincing Vosges Wilt and Pesant. In the absence of R5, Pavy did not miss the opportunity to win the jackpot in group R in front of Dhaisne's little Twingo. In F2000, Lacroix seemed well on his way to confirming his good start to the season. His abandonment combined with the rapid problems of Legrand and the withdrawal of Labure allowed Ducrocq to take the lead against the young Senecat. B. Sailly
