At the end of the first day of Rally Lyon-Charbonnières, second round of the French Asphalt Rally Championship, Yoann Bonato (Citroën C3 R5) achieved an almost perfect first stage.
Author of four scratch times out of five possible, with only Quentin Gilbert (Skoda Fabia R5) provisionally fastest in the short 5 km SS1,10, Bonato opened up a gap of 17″4 over Jérémi Ancian (Ford Fiesta R5) .
Troisième avant l’ES4, Bryan Bouffier (Hyundai i20 R5) a tiré tout droit dans le quatrième secteur chronométré et a vu Pierre Roché (Skoda Fabia R5) lui ravir la troisième place. Le pilote du Team FJ pointe à 32″4 du leader, Bouffier étant repoussé à 48″3.
Quentin Gilbert completes the top 5 before the second stage tomorrow, comprising eight special stages to determine the winner of the Lyon round.
