Germain Bonnefis wins the title of French gravel rally champion at the end of the Rally from Vaucluse. Stéphane Chambon took victory in the 22nd edition by taking advantage of a two-minute penalty inflicted on Paul Chieusse and another of three minutes for Jean-Manuel Beuzelin, both drivers having clocked in early. Paul Chieusse still finished in second place ahead of Germain Bonnefis, Stéphane Pellerey having retired with a mechanical problem while he was in second place on his Peugeot 207 S2000. The 307 WRC by Lionel Baud and the Christmas Tron Mitsubishi Lancer complete the top five.
