Emmanuel Gascou (Peugeot 207 S2000) responds to Germain Bonnefis (207 S2000) by signing the scratch in Séverac le Château and taking 6”8 from Germain Bonnefis. Paul Chieusse fails at 10”4 with the 307 WRC Citroën Racing Trophy leader Stéphane Consani is still impressive, finishing 15” from the scratch, while Gilles Ségales (Lancer Evo IX) falls 3 seconds behind, only two tenths ahead of Thomas Privé's DS22 R3. Vincent Dubert (DS3 R3) follows at nine tenths. Thierry Brun (Lancer Evo X) is still a second behind. Cédric Hennion (Citroën C3 WRC) lost fourth place following an off-road accident causing him to lose more than six minutes.
Germain Bonnefis only has a 7”3 lead over Emmanuel Gascou with two stages to go. Paul Chieusse still completes the provisional podium but it is now Stéphane Consani who occupies fourth place with almost four seconds ahead of Gilles Ségales. Thierry Brun is sixth ahead of Thomas Privé and Vincent Dubert who are still a few tenths apart.
