Catalonia, SS1: Rovanperä, already!
Although it may be new, this first special of the Rally de Catalogne 2022 n’a pas perturbé Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota). Le récent champion du monde WRC took advantage of his first place in the starting order to set the best time, before the road was covered with gravel in the bends.
Sur une route sèche, le Finlandais a devancé les deux outsiders pour le rang de vice-champion chez Hyundai, Thierry Neuville et Ott Tänak. For his return to the WRC, Sébastien Ogier achieved a good fourth time even though he started at the back of the Rally1 hybrid pack.
At M-Sport Ford, Pierre-Louis Loubet et Adrien fourmaux have not increased their pace more than is reasonable and are bringing up the rear.
