Catalonia, SS11: Greensmith accident, special stopped
Like in New Zealand deux semaines auparavant, Gus Greensmith (M-Sport Ford) a confondu vitesse et précipitation lors de la deuxième étape d’une manche WRC. This time, the English driver braked too late before a turn on the 11th stage of the Rally of Catalonia this Saturday October 21.
The 25-year-old driver was unhurt, as was his co-driver Jonas Andersson. The special is canceled because the Ford Puma Rally1 hybrid is blocking the road. Gus Greensmith was in 10th place in the Rally de Catalunya and was undoubtedly trying to catch up with his teammate Adrien fourmaux, who was ahead of him by 7″9.
