Catalonia, SS17: Serial punctures!

It is for the last city that this damage is the most infuriating. In fact, the freshly minted world champion dropped around ten seconds on Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), ce qui permet au Belge de prendre le large dans le match pour le deuxième rang dans cette avant-dernier rendez-vous de la saison 2022 du WRC.

Adrien fourmaux (M-Sport Ford) came close to being punished by hitting the safety rail at the exit of a turn. “ I made a mistake in my notes, I indicated that this bend opened, but in fact it closed. We will change that for the Power Stage. »

As for Sébastien Ogier (Toyota), he manages his race perfectly. The leader ends the special by dropping 3″4 on Neuville. His overall lead is currently 14″1. “There was a complicated place towards the end of the SS, I had been warned about punctures before my departure. Anyway, I didn't want to take any risks, and I wanted to avoid going over this hole in a bend. If you drive through it, there is a risk of puncturing a tire. »
