Catalonia, SS7: Festival of punctures
The penultimate special of the first stage of the Rally de Catalogne 2022 ce vendredi 21 octobre a donné lieu à une série de crevaisons chez les Rally1 hybrides. À chaque fois au niveau de la roue avant gauche, Dani Sordo (Hyundai, ci-dessus), Elfyn Evans (Toyota) et Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) ont fini avec une pneu à plat.
Despite this mishap, Dani Sordo gained a place because Elfyn Evans lost more time at the end of the special. Totally transparent in this ordeal, Craig Breen also gleans a position to the detriment of Takamoto Katsuta.
At the head of the race, Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) concedes 7 tenths to the new world champion Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) but remains in first place.
